City of Palmdale National Night Out

The City of Palmdale is helping residents stand united against crime during its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5-9 p.m. at Poncitlán Square, located at 38315 9th St. East. This family-friendly event is a community celebration where neighbors can connect with their local first responders who serve and protect their City every day.
“When residents and law enforcement come together in a positive environment, we build the trust and partnerships that make our community safer and stronger,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “Public safety is a shared responsibility and National Night Out helps to break down barriers to create connections between neighbors and first responders.”
Attendees will enjoy an up-close look at public safety in action with live equipment demos, interactive displays and the chance to explore law enforcement and fire department vehicles. Residents can also chat with the everyday heroes and community partners who serve the City of Palmdale.
In addition to safety-focused activities, the event will feature games, hands-on experiences for all ages and food available for purchase, making it a memorable night for the whole family.
