About:

Dedicated in 1972, Apollo Community Regional Park is named in honor of the Apollo 11 astronauts. The 54-acre park features three man-made lakes. Take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful lakes and enjoy lunch at one of the many provided picnic shelters. Three fishing derbies are hosted each year, two for adults and one for youths, with prizes awarded for biggest catch.
