Three women across the generations contend with unseen forces in this eerie novel. When Minerva, a graduate student, researches obscure horror author Beatrice Tremblay, she begins to suspect that whatever haunted Tremblay was real and still lingers on campus. Yet it also has a striking parallel to events experienced by her great-grandmother many decades before.
