The GO Jazz Big Band will present Classic/Remix, a concert featuring traditional big band standards reimagined for modern audiences.
Musical director Brian Leff and vocalist Steve Lively will lead performances of favorites like “Take the A Train” and “Fly Me to the Moon” in their original arrangements during the first set.
The second half transforms these classics into contemporary interpretations with fresh arrangements.
The program includes timeless pieces such as “Begin the Beguine” and “April in Paris,” each performed in both traditional and modernized styles.
