Dean Kalogris at Buckle & Boots

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Dean was raised on a cattle farm and grew up on country music and pickup trucks. An injury his junior year of high school cut short his college and pro baseball aspirations so he joined the military at the age of 18 and moved down south to Texas.
His first taste of music and the stage came as a worship leader at a Southern Baptist church in El Paso, TX. When he left the military in 2011 he moved to Dallas and spent nearly two years working on his vocal chops and writing skills, playing all the local bars and writing his first album, before moving to Los Angeles at the end of 2012
