An Evening with Roger McGuinn

The Byrds founder, front man and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Roger McGuinn comes to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center for a night of great music, reminiscing and nostalgia. With his innovative jingle-jangle style of guitar playing, McGuinn and the Byrds soared to the top of the charts with hits “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” “Eight Miles High” and “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” (with Bob Dylan).The Byrds combination of folk and progressive rock was groundbreaking in the 1960s and influenced a generation of musical legends to follow.
