The Los Angeles Zoo is thrilled to welcome members of our Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and all Angelenos to enjoy special activities and performances honoring the Lunar New Year (January 29) and the Year of the Snake.
Weekend programming includes:
> Traditional dance performances by Asian Arts Talents Foundation
> Calligraphy, sky lantern, and Chinese paper cutting demonstrations
> Wall of Well Wishes to share hopes and dreams for the New Year
> Bitty Bao Story Time and red envelope craft
> Special animal feedings
> Education stations
> Year of the Snake photo op
> Self-guided Zoo-diac Tour highlighting the many animals of the 12-year Chinese zodiac that can be found at the Zoo!
All activities are free with paid Zoo admission and for Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association members. Parking is free.
