Metro Seeks Input on SR-14 Safety Project in North LA County
Metro, Caltrans and North LA County Transportation Coalition are studying improvements to reduce collisions and traffic delays on SR-14.
The proposed project includes safety upgrades, smart traffic systems and wildlife crossings along the highway corridor.
Public comment is open through Dec. 4, with residents invited to share feedback online, in person at community meetings, or via the project hotline at 213-922-4222.
The environmental review phase is underway, with completion date to be determined.
The project aims to address the corridor’s high crash rates and unreliable travel times through various improvements to both main lanes and entrance/exit ramps.
