Join MOAH on Saturday, July 15th for our Introduction to Copper Enameling workshop with Sages artist Kay Yee. Focusing on adhering glass onto copper through kiln firing, the workshop will have participants create one or two pendants using colored enamel and copper. Demonstrations will be given on preparing base and counter coats, sgraffito, stenciling, and stamping techniques. Only a limited number of slots are available so secure your spot soon.
Kay Yee is an artist based in Pasadena, California. A formally trained metalsmith, Yee utilizes traditional methods of jewelry making to create enamel works that reflect her ideas about texture and surface.
