Alma Woodsey Thomas was a “color field” artist who lived and worked in 20th century Washington DC. She created her paintings, which she called “Alma’s stripes,” with rectangular blocks of color. For ages 13 – 18.

Bring an friend and come paint!  Quartz Hill Library will supply the materials, and Alma Woodsey Thomas will provide the inspiration
