Fire Department

The City of Lancaster contracts with the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD) for fire & paramedic services. There are currently six fire stations within the City of Lancaster, as well as one in the unincorporated community of Antelope Acres. Services provided include fire suppression, fire prevention, paramedic response, swift water rescue, hazardous materials response, and more. In addition, LACFD provides free sandbags & instructions to residents for flooding & erosion control, and conducts numerous Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes each year.
