music history comes to life as the critically acclaimed “Smokey & Me – A Celebration of Smokey Robinson” comes to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center for a special one-night only performance on Saturday, January 27 at 8 PM.
 

Featuring renowned Broadway singer and actor Charl Brown in the lead role, “Smokey & Me” commemorates the incredible life, music, and six-decade career of legendary Motown singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson. Brown, who earned a Tony award nomination for his portrayal of Robinson in Motown: The Musical, embodies the musical icon in the show-stopping concert production.
 

Audiences will be dancing in the aisles as the show takes them on a musical journey through Smokey Robinson’s greatest hits, including treasured classics like “My Girl,” “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me,” “I Second That Emotion,” “Shop Around,” and many more. Supported by a live band, Brown’s extraordinary vocal talent and dynamic performance will transport the audience back to Motown’s heyday.
