Join us to discuss 'My Heart is a Chainsaw', by Stephen Graham Jones. For adults
In the Everything Book Club we read a variety of genres; we wish to expand our horizons and try to include many perspectives.
My Heart is a Chainsaw follows high school outcast and major horror geek Jade Daniels. When gentrification of her poor mountain town is accompanied by mysterious deaths, she's convinced that one of her beloved slasher movies is unfolding in real life. But as she digs deeper into her obsession, will she be able to save any of the potential victims? And do they deserve saving?
