Lights & Music presents this turn-of-the-millennium-themed dance party extravaganza at The Satellite in Silver Lake. Attendees can spend their New Year’s Eve grooving to bubblegum pop favorites including Spice Girls, ‘N Sync, Madonna and Britney Spears, to name a few. Expect plenty of glitter, lollipops, rainbows and unicorns.

Dita Von Teese’s Gala Show
929 S. Broadway, Los Angeles
Spend New Year’s Eve at the Ace Hotel as contemporary icon Dita Von Teese hosts this hour and 45-minute burlesque showcase. Check out the costumes in the lobby, or splurge on a meet and greet ticket to snap a photo with the Queen of Burlesque herself.

Eve at Universal Studios Hollywood
The park will host its first New Year’s Eve celebration, with festivities continuing until 1 a.m. Besides all of the usual attractions, enjoy a park-wide countdown party with multiple, uniquely themed entertainment hubs and live music starting at 9 p.m.

Price: The event is included in normal park admission of $105-$116 for general admission; $179-$269 for front-of-line passes.

Marina del Rey’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks & Glow Party
Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey
At 7 p.m. participate in a Glow Party for the whole family with DJs, face painting, bubbles, a photo booth, giveaways and food trucks. Starting at 30 seconds before 9 p.m., view the Times Square ball drop and enjoy a fireworks display. At 30 seconds before midnight, do another countdown and celebrate the New Year with a 10-minute fireworks display.

New Year’s Eve aboard the Queen Mary
Wave farewell to 2017 and raise a glass to 2018 aboard the Queen Mary this New Year’s Eve. Ring in the New Year with Las Vegas Showgirls as they kick-off the evening’s celebrations and dance the night away with live music including a performance from Sir Mix-A-Lot, Los Chicas del 512, a Selena tribute band more. Say hello to 2018 with what’s billed as the largest fireworks show in Southern California.

N.Y.E.L.A. at Grand Park

Dance your way into 2018 in downtown L.A. with a festive event that includes food, live music and photo booths in an event that brings the whole community together. This is an alcohol-free, family-friendly celebration and there will be security checkpoints, so please don’t bring prohibited items such as fireworks, glass, umbrellas into the event.

Hermosa Beach New Year’s Celebration
Pier Plaza. Redondo Beach.
Experience both the ball drop in Times Square and the arrival of the New Year in Southern California. Also enjoy music by Lou Giovannetti and his Big Band. Join us at Pier Plaza for the Hermosa Beach "GLOW NIGHT" NYE Celebration! Feel free to wear your glow-in-the-dark necklaces, bracelets, etc. Glow sticks and other glow-accessories will be available at the event.

This 1920s-themed New Year’s Eve celebration, is returning to historic Union Station in DTLA for the sixth year in a row. Guests will be brought back to the Prohibition era with theatrical burlesque performances, live jazz bands, DJs and a premium open bar. There will also be a special performance by Goldroom.
