ARTOutdoorAV Billboard Project
The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) is thrilled to launch the#ARTOUTDOORAV Billboard Project from Monday, October 16, 2017 to Sunday, November 12, 2017. The #ARTOUTDOORAV Billboard Project is a joint campaign between Lamar Advertising, MOAH and the Lancaster Museum and Public Art Foundation (LMPAF). The Museum invites local artists, and those who reside in the 5th Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County, to submit their work for consideration for a special outdoor exhibition. A panel of jurors will review the work. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork on two billboards at selected locations in and around the City of Lancaster and greater Antelope Valley region. This special outdoor exhibition will include 10 artists on a total of 20 billboards as part of MOAH’s fall programming.

Jurors :
Juror’s will include representatives from the MOAH’s curatorial staff, the LMPAF board of directors and Lamar Advertising management.
Selection Process :
The Jurors will select which artwork will be exhibited by careful examination of all submitted entries. With no exceptions, Jurors have the sole responsibility for the selection of artworks. Lamar Advertising, MOAH and LMPAF reserve the right to not display work that does not meet eligibility requirements or follow the guidelines herein.
Eligibility :
Works must have been completed within the last three years and not previously exhibited at MOAH or MOAH:CEDAR. #ARTOUTDOORAV is open to all artists working within the following media, including photography, painting, drawing, mixed media 2D. Artists must be 18 years or older. Artists must provide a high resolution image of the accepted works upon notification. Applicants must reside within the 5th Supervisorial District of the County of Los Angeles or within the following ZIP codes:

Submittal :
Only entries submitted online via callforentries.org (CaFE) will be accepted. Artists must create a free account with CaFE. Once their account has been created, artists will be able to search for the call #ARTOUTDOORAV Billboard Project. Artist may then upload high resolution images of their work to CaFE and pay all applicable fees.

Presentation :
Artists must provide a high resolution image of the accepted works immediately upon notification of acceptance. Lamar Advertising reserves the right to alter or modify the submitted image for the purposes of formatting and production of each billboard. Keep in mind, billboard output will be in landscape, or horizontal, orientation.
Notification and Delivery of Accepted Works :
Artists will be notified by email of accepted work(s) by CaFE between Monday, September 18, 2017 and Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Please be prepared to deliver electronically accepted works immediately upon receipt of this notification.
