The Brite Lake Aquatic Recreation Area is operated by the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District and is surrounded by some of Tehachapi’s most beautiful natural scenery. Camping, fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing are some of the year-round recreation that can be enjoyed at the site. Brite Lake is host to TVRPD’s Fishing Derby, Astronomy Club Star Parties, and other regional events.
