Welcome to “Girasol: Tell Your Friends All About It” an art show curated from the visual lenses of Marquise’s Grace, a visionary artist from Palmdale, Ca. “Girasol: Tell Your Friends All About It”, works derives from the Spanish word Girasol, which in English is translated to sunflower. Ultimately sunflowers carry the same meaning to different cultures; like enlightenment, spiritual awakening, and personal growth. This collection of artwork shows the shaping and development through the past eight years of my crafting.
Within this collection, the observer can see different forms and art styles primarily through my use of acrylic, photography, and collage. This being my first solo exhibition and it being here in Palmdale, California where I’m born raised. This has a profound dynamic importance to be able to display my work and put on for my city. Combining an audio and visual experience I want this viewing experience to be something you “Go and Tell Your Friends All About”.
