If staying mainland, stroll the historic downtown for mission architecture and local galleries, or walk the scenic Ventura Pier stretching 1,958 feet into the Pacific.

For lunch, savor fresh seafood at harbor restaurants like Brophy Bros or downtown favorites along Main Street.
