Just over an hour's drive from Lancaster lies this historic astronomical landmark, perched at 5,710 feet elevation with breathtaking views stretching from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.

Choose your adventure with a scenic drive up the winding Angeles Crest Highway to reach the summit, or challenge yourself with the demanding Mount Wilson Trail – a 7-mile hike gaining over 4,500 feet in elevation that rewards serious hikers with incredible panoramic vistas. For those seeking additional mountain exploration, the surrounding Angeles National Forest offers countless hiking trails through pine-scented wilderness.

After your cosmic adventure, explore the wealth of popular destinations in the San Gabriel Valley foothills.
