Tehachapi is ringing in the holiday season with a community-wide adventure! The Reindeer Rush Scavenger Hunt begins on Small Business Saturday, inviting residents and visitors to explore local shops, discover hidden reindeer figurines, and support the businesses that make the city feel so festive.

Starting Friday, November 21, pick up your Shop Small Passport at:
• City Hall
• Kern County Library – Tehachapi Branch
• Tehachapi Depot Museum
• Tehachapi Visitors Center
• Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce

Beginning November 29, hunt for reindeer at participating businesses and collect passport stamps. Every five stamps earns an entry into a raffle for gift baskets filled with local goodies - collect more sets of five for additional entries.

The scavenger hunt runs through January 5, 2026, with raffle winners announced on January 8, 2026.
