Assistant Sheriff Denham's Retirement Celebration
A beloved member of the Antelope Valley, Bobby Denham, just retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, closing a chapter to an amazing 41-year long career serving our local community.
Throughout his career, Denham has been at the frontlines of some very pivotal moments in Los Angeles history. From serving as a member of the SWAT team during the 1984 Olympics to working the 1992 Los Angeles riots, Denham has risen through the ranks from deputy, sergeant, captain of Palmdale Sheriff's Station, as well as AV's Valley Commander before ending his career at the prestigious rank of the assistant sheriff under Jim McDonnell.
Denham has also been at the forefront of many efforts to combat crime throughout our own local community from Palmdale’s Partners Against Crime, the Antelope Valley Crimefighters Initiative, Volunteers on Patrol, the Citizens Academy, and more.
In honor and recognition of Bobby Denham’s long career and extensive service to our community, Grace Chapel will be hosting a retirement celebration on Sunday, March 31st from 5 – 8:00 PM.
