Memorial Day Weekend in the AV!

This weekend, sip wine to the voice of Marc Macisso and Kenny Herrera at Golden Star Vineyards, take the family to a Jethawks baseball game, enjoy a night of jazz music at the Palmdale Playhouse, and so much more!
This weekend, we will also be spending some time remembering those who have given their lives serving in the American armed forces. Our hearts and respect go out to the friends and families who have lost loved ones in the armed forces and we appreciate the service of those currently serving and those who have served.

Memorial Day Ceremony by the City of Palmdale
Join the community in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs as available seating is very limited.
Palmdale Mayor Jim Ledford will offer welcoming remarks and introduce the dignitaries.
Major Conrad Hernandez, Commander of Highland High Schools Air Force JROTC will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
The ceremony will include the raising of the colors and Pledge of Allegiance, invocation and benediction by Margie Hernandez, National Anthem by Tiara Luke, Table of Honor Ceremony, laying of wreaths and a salute to veterans. The ceremony will conclude with taps by a member of the Palmdale Veterans Honor Guard.
