DESCRIPTION:The Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra\, under the direction of Dr. D
 avid Newby will be performing on Sunday\, September 22\, 2019\, at Country
  Oaks Baptist Church beginning at 4:00 pm. Doors open at 3:30. \n\nThe pr
 ogram will begin with Aaron Coplanda's Fanfare for the Common Man and cont
 inue with fiddler/violinist\, Jana Jae\, joining the symphony to perform t
 raditional fiddle music of various genres - old time\, bluegrass\, gypsy\,
  celtic\, and more.\nAfter the intermission\, TSO will end the concert wit
 h Antonin Dvoraka's Symphony No. 9\, the New World Symphony. This concert 
 is sponsored in part by a grant from the Virginia and Alfred Harrell Found
 ation. Audience members may meet directors\, soloist\, and musicians durin
 g the reception following the concert.\n\n
