  two orchestral excursions to Poland and Italy. Confident in his brilliant
  Capriccio Italien\, Tchaikovsky confessed\, “I am sure in advance that 
 it will sound well.”\n\nThe night comes down to a booming finale with th
 e 1812 Overture\, accompanied by the USC Marching Band and our flabbergas
