DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to a free event on December 22\, 2021\, a
 t the Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH): the Sun Dagger Winter So
 lstice Event with Dr. Bruce Love.\n\nThe event begins at 4:00 PM with a br
 ief talk led by local anthropologist Dr. Bruce Love in the South Gallery. 
 Viewers are then invited to the Jewel Box on the second floor to witness t
 he sun dagger hitting a predetermined target at the exact time of sunset: 
 4:47 PM. Afterward\, a winter solstice-inspired craft will be held in the 
 MOAH classroom until 6:00 PM.\n\nThe Solstice Event will be streamed live 
 via Zoom\, and the recording will be shared with the public at a later dat
 e. The sun dagger and target are installed at MOAH year-round\, but the pe
 rfect alignment of the two happens only once a year!
