Our in structors are hand-picked trained professionals. Having an instructor star ts prior to the event with an email from our head instruction to get some background on you\, and to understand your wants and needs as a driver\, a long with what you would like to get out of the experience. After your dri vers meeting\, you will have a meet and greet with your instructor before going out on track. \nEach session will be documented by your instructor and turned in to OnGrid’s Directors and Lead Instructor at the end of th e day. After reviewing your evaluation\, we will reach back out to you and go over your progression\, along with how you can further improve your sk ills.\nAt the end of the day\, you\, the student will also have the chance to evaluate your instructor (privately). This helps us assess our instruc tors and make necessary changes to our program. We want to make sure your needs as a driver are met. \n\nAVAILABLE RUN GROUPS\nGROUP 1 (Beginner)\n - This run group is intended for drivers with little to no previous track experience. Generally 0-3 track day’s worth of experience.\n- This group allows drivers to focus on becoming more comfortable during High Performa nce Driving Events (HPDE)\, along with allowing each participant to become familiar with the correct racing line\, track rules\, and proper track et iquette without being pressured.\n- Point by Passing is mandatory and only allowed on the straights. No passing in corners allowed.\n\nGROUP 2 (Low Intermediate)\n- Group 2 is similar to group 1\, however it is designed fo r drivers with more experience and a greater amount of awareness then grou p 1 drivers. \n- This group is interned for intermediate drivers with a g ood understanding of track etiquette and awareness.\n- Four (4) days of ro ad course experience is the minimum requirement to qualify for this run gr oup or a qualified racing school (Simraceway\, Skip Barber\, etc).\n- Poin t-by passing is allowed anywhere on the course and is mandatory.\n\nGROUP 3 (High Intermediate)\n- Group 3 is designed for drivers with a higher ski ll set then group 2a and are in the process of transitioning into our adva nced groups.\n- This group is intended for drivers with a high understandi ng of track awareness and etiquette.\n- Nine (9) days of road course exper ience is the minimum requirement to qualify for this run group\n- Open pas sing is welcome on straights and point-by passing is required for passing in corners.\n\nGROUP 4 (SLOW ADVANCED)\n- Group 4 is intended for advanced drivers with slower cars. \n- Thirteen (13) days of road course experien ce is the minimum requirement to qualify for this run group along with spe cific lap times\, per course\, are required to qualify for this group.\n- Group 4 and group 5 have the same rules and regulations.\n- Opens passing is allowed everywhere on the course\, by any driver\, in this run group. P oint-by passing is recommended\, but not required. \n- 1:32 or faster lap s at Streets of Willow CW configuration for this group.\n\nGROUP 5 (FAST A DVANCED)\n- Group 5 is our fastest run group. \n- Twenty (20) days of roa d course experience is the minimum requirement to qualify for this run gro up along with specific lap times\, per course\, are required to qualify fo r this group.\n- Group 5 is built for the fastest vehicles and drivers at any driving event OnGrid hosts.\n- Open passing is allowed everywhere on t he course\, by any driver\, in this run group. Point-by passing is recomme nded\, but not required.\n- This run group is based around lap times and t rack experience. \n- 1:27 or faster laps at Streets of Willow CW configur ation for this group.\n\nWe welcome everyone to our event.
