DESCRIPTION:LANCASTER\, Calif. – California State Park’s Antelope Valle
 y Indian Museum State Historic Park (SHP) will host Native artist Rowan D.
  Harrison from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday September 28\, 2019. Rowan will 
 share his art with museum visitors and answer their questions.\n\nRowan D.
  Harrison (Navajo/Pueblo of Isleta) is a potter and painter. He coils and 
 burnishes his pottery by hand. He paints his pottery free-hand using desig
 ns inspired by his cultural heritage and those of other cultures from arou
 nd the world. In addition to his ceramics\, Rowan also creates pen and ink
  drawings extrapolated from his pottery designs. His artwork has won award
 s at the Prescott Indian Art Market\, Santa Fe Indian Market\, Hillcrest F
 estival of Fine Arts\, and the Heard Museum’s Indian Fair and Market.\n\
