Join us for our first-ever High Desert Plant Celebration & Giveaway! This Decmeber 7th from 10 am to 3 pm at the VFW Post 300.
We here at the Antelope Valley Audubon Society are super excited to bring a day of educational talks, activies, crafts and FREE native plants!
It will be a day of not only learning about our local native flora, but how everyone, including our bird friends, benefit from these amazing plants.
We’ll be joined by Transition Habitat Conservancy, the Los Angeles County Parks Department, Canyons to the Desert Resource Conservation District (CDRCD), and other conservation and plant-focused partners sharing their expertise and resources. The celebration will also feature a live musical performance by Sage Against the Machine!
Whether you’re a gardener, naturalist, or simply curious about the desert environment, this event offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and take home native plants that help our ecosystem thrive.
