DESCRIPTION:This unique 3-day event started 21 years ago\, in a Senior Cent
 er in the Antelope Valley\, with the belief that "If you build it\, they w
 ill come". Our vision was to create a dance event that was affordable\, FU
 N\, and with an excellent staff that reached dancers of all ages. Our even
 t is special\, fun-filled\, and stress-free.\n\nHigh Desert Dance Classic 
 has successfully merged the communities of West Coast swing\, ballroom\, L
 atin\, salsa\, bachata\, hustle\, country two-step\, and lindy all under o
 ne roof. This dynamic event includes amazing workshops\, competitions\, be
 ginner boot camps\, special performances\, and even late-night dancing. Th
 ere truly is something for everyone!\n\nOne of the most extraordinary part
 s of our event is our Dance Force Youth Ballroom Program\, which features 
 over 500 students graders 4th grade through 12th grade competing in ballro
 om dance and representing their schools. There is nothing more exciting th
 an watching this event on Saturday and Sunday morning and cheering on your
  favorite couple!
