 eater Potluck Hike\n\nSaturday\, December 20\, 2025\n\nHey everyone\, quic
 k update!We’re officially turning this into the Ugly Sweater Potluck Hik
 e – the hike plus a potluck and a $20 unisex White Elephant gift exchang
 e at the park after.\nHere are all the details:\n\nMeetup• 4:45 AM – A
 rrive early• 5:00 AM sharp – We start hiking• Location: Merry-Go-Rou
 nd Parking Lot #1 (no address\, please Google it)\n\nThe Hike• We’re h
 iking all the way to the Hollywood Sign• We’ll take our big ugly-sweat
 er group picture at the top• This route is 8+ miles\, fast to moderate p
 ace with checkpoints• Not a beginners hike\n\nWhat to Bring• Hiking bo
 ots or trail runners (no tennis shoes please)• At least 1 liter of water
 • Snacks + any medication you need• A $20 unisex gift if you want to j
 oin the White Elephant game• Ugly sweater – I recommend putting it in 
 your backpack and wearing it at the top (they get hot fast)• Holiday acc
 essories like light-up necklaces are fun and encouraged• If you have one
 \, please bring a 6-foot table or any folding chairs for the potluck setup
 \n\nPotluck• Goal is to be back down by 8:30 AM• We’ll set up at the
  park right next to the parking lot• Please bring something to share• 
 White Elephant ($20 gift\, unisex\, fun\, optional)• This is a great cha
 nce for anyone who’s wanted to join us to finally jump in and be part of
  the community\n\nReminders• We keep a steady pace• We stay together a
