DESCRIPTION:PALMDALE\, CA – Families are invited to an action-packed Neig
 hborhood Watch event on Tuesday\, April 14\, from 6-8 p.m. at Marie Kerr P
 ark\, 39700 30th St. West. This free community celebration brings neighbor
 s together for an evening of entertainment\, delicious treats and exciting
  giveaways.\nResidents can enjoy free snow cones\, while supplies last\, f
 ace painting\, train rides\, a high-energy 360-degree photo booth\, live D
 J performances\, food trucks offering tasty food for purchase and activiti
 es for kids of all ages\, including sports-themed inflatables. Everyone wh
 o attends will have the chance to win a free Ring camera to enhance their 
 home security and attendees can connect with Los Angeles County deputies a
 nd City Public Safety staff to learn valuable safety advice for their neig
 hborhood.\n“Building strong\, connected neighborhoods is one of our most
  important goals and these Neighborhood Watch events bring our community t
 ogether\,” said Mayor Eric Ohlsen. “When neighbors know each other and
  work alongside our public safety teams\, we create the foundation for a s
 afer\, more vibrant Palmdale. This is also a great opportunity for those w
 ho live nearby to meet their neighbors and learn practical tools to protec
 t their home and loved ones.”\nThe event will help empower residents to 
 become the “eyes and ears” of their community by working together to p
 revent crime and build stronger relationships with neighbors and law enfor
 cement. Councilmember Richard Loa\, who represents District 2\, will also 
 attend to meet his constituents.\n“Our Neighborhood Watch events provide
  residents with easy access to essential public safety resources while str
 engthening community connections\,” said Mayor Pro Tem Austin Bishop. 
 “These programs support our ongoing work to enhance safety infrastructur
 e across Palmdale and complement the City’s approach to neighborhood sec
 urity.”\nAdditional Neighborhood Watch events are planned for other coun
