DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary at the 63rd annual Teh
 achapi Mountain Festival\, held on the third weekend of August as it has b
 een since 1963. This year's theme\, "American Pies and Small Town Ties\," 
 was created by Krista Kenehan\, with winning artwork by Chelsea Aamold. Pr
 oduced by the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce\, the festival is the 
 largest of the mountain community's beloved special events\, drawing thous
 ands for a weekend packed with a parade\, entertainment\, arts\, crafts\, 
 delicious food and more.\nExplore more than 80 vendors selling jewelry\, t
 oys\, decor\, clothing and accessories\, alongside booths from local organ
 izations and businesses. A private family booth hosted by Family Life Preg
 nancy Center offers a space for parents to feed and change their babies. E
 njoy live entertainment\, a beer garden with an assortment of beverage opt
 ions\, and the shade of the park's many trees and its charming gazebo.\nFe
 stival Schedule\n\n\n 	Saturday\, Aug. 15: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.\, kicking off 
 with the ever-popular parade at 10 a.m. and headlined by the acclaimed ban
 d Blue Mountain Tribe\n 	Sunday\, Aug. 16: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.\n\nThe park ju
 st east of downtown sets the stage for two full days of family fun.\n
