SUMMARY:2025 Healthy Hart 5k Walk/Run for SAAM
DESCRIPTION:Every year in April\, we celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Mon
 th (SAAM) by acknowledging victims and survivors during a 5K Walk/Run comm
 unity activity at the AV College Stadium from 8am-11am. The 5K is hosted b
 oth in-person and virtually. \n\n- Virtual participants will use the socia
 l media tag #healthyhart5k25). A photo memorial and is displayed throughou
 t the track\, including photos of both military and non-military victims a
 nd survivors of SA and MST (military sexual trauma). \n\nEach registered p
 articipant will receive a 2025 medal\, and the first 75 people will also r
 eceive a t-shirt. Water\, fruit\, and other post-race snacks will be provi
 ded free of charge to participants and on-site volunteers thanks to our sp
 onsor Chronic Tacos Palmdale! \n\nThis is a family-friendly event\, where 
 the whole family is invited to do the 5K\, then hang out and participate f
 or the field activities such as relay & sack races.\n\nThis activity direc
 tly supports our mission to break the cycle of violence. Far too many are 
 silenced\, and we support by cultivating an affirming\, safe and empowerin
 g event to showcase your strength while engaging the community. \n\nThree 
 Hart Connection's three-pillar believe is that the connection of mental we
 llbeing\, physical fitness and advocacy are the pillars needed to transfor
 m the lives of survivors! \n\nTickets are $35 now but increase to $55 on t
 he day of the event.
