About:

Vasquez Rocks is a 932-acre park known for its spectacular rock formations. Vasquez Rocks has a seasonal stream and is home to Tataviam Indian sites. The location takes its name from one of California's most notorious bandits, Tiburcio Vasquez, who used the rocks in 1874 to evade law enforcement. The park is a popular hiking, picnicking, and equestrian spot and has been featured in movies, television shows and commercials.
